EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHTS
Here are just a few of our Employee highlights as a way of saying thank you for their hard work and dedication to our community.
Thank you @lifeflightnetwork for taking the time to train with us and practice hot loading critical patients. Even though it isn’t something we do everyday, it is a crucial skill to have in order to save valuable time when it comes to certain emergencies.
HAPPY NATIONAL EMS WEEK! 🚑
This week our crews have been showered with appreciation and thanks from people all throughout our community. Thank you to all of those who have dropped off goodie baskets and cards!
We want to acknowledge all of the other EMS agencies in our valley that work alongside us to serve this community! This job may not always be glamorous but it sure is rewarding. Thank you for showing your support and we promise to be there for you any time, day or night!
And a special thank you to @covenantconfections for the most thoughtful cake! Not only was it delicious but it was encouraging and heart felt.
We had a great day at Eastmont High School’s Career Day sharing what it’s like to work in EMS. We got to tell them all about what we do for our patients and our community. We showed them how to take vitals and got to share how rewarding it feels to have a job in healthcare. We can’t wait to come back next year to share more about our jobs with the next batch of students!
A huge thank you to Prestige Senior Living at Colonial Vista! They dropped off some goodie baskets as an appreciation for all of our crews. We are honored to be there for you in times of need. Thank you for all that you do and for working with us to provide the best care for your residents.
It’s that time of year again, APPLE BLOSSOM 🌸
Come visit us down at Memorial Park today! While this is a fun time for our community, we will be working daily to help ensure your safety, so all you need to worry about is how much fun you are having and how good the food is! Happy spring and be safe!
This week is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. We want to thank all of our dispatchers for their sacrifice and the unseen contribution they make for this community. At Ballard Ambulance we have 24 hour in house dispatchers that are at the ready for our communities needs. Thanks to all dispatchers for being the voice and ears of EMS! We couldn’t do this without you.
We had so much fun getting to attend the Cashmere High School Career Day. We got to share information about our day to day jobs and what it looks like in all aspects to have a career in EMS. You are never too young to start helping others and to make a lasting impact in people’s lives. It was such a fun day and it meant even more when we got encouraging feedback from several students.
Educating the next generation is vital for ensuring the strong prosperity of our future for years to come.
We had the great honor of participating in the annual EMS day that took place at the capital. Paramedics and EMTs from all over Washington state gathered in Olympia to meet with state legislators. It was a privilege to discuss new ideas to help resolve challenges that EMS faces daily, in order to provide the best care to our communities.
We were accompanied by the founder of our company, Clyde Ballard, who served as a local representative and as speaker of the house for 9 years.
It was an honor to present awards to some members of the legislature that have been particularly helpful in taking steps towards positive changes for the EMS community. Thank you again to Senator Braun, Representative Schmick, and Senator Cleveland.
Thank you to the Washington Ambulance Association for organizing this event annually and providing these opportunities.
